Crazies?

Yet another horror remake. It seems like nobody can come up with any original ideas nowadays. Why has culture come to a standstill with this endless reproduction of movies thought of decades ago? Over and over we are taken on these thrill rides with no solid story. I’ve seen too many of these bad horror movies from decades ago being brought back to life and ruined by trying to redo it. Leave them alone. They’re only good because they’re cheap and bad. You’re only going to make it worse by throwing a huge budget at it and trying to resell it. Any movie is possible to remake! But come on, you’re getting really lazy when you do all of them…

February 26th, 2010: Something is infecting the citizens of Ogden Marsh with insanity. Now complete anarchy reigns as one by one the townsfolk succumb to an unknown toxin and turn sadistically violent. Is The Crazies going to be crazy enough? I’ll make that decision, I’m just not sure if I want to pay money for it.

We’ll see how it does. So far opening weekend has seen a gross of $16.1 million for The Crazies. The other horror remake- Wolfman is still ahead at $57.4 million.
